Hey guys what is your view on grass fed raw milk, eggs, and honey? When I say animal foods I am excluding all flesh because I am totally against it. I have tried raw milk 2 times this week and I really must admit it is very good. Anyways talk away ! :)

I had a head on collision in 2003 and I broke both my legs. At the time, I lived right next to an organic farm upstate New York. The couple who owned the farm were very caring with their farm animals. Every animal had a name, the chickens and goats name were Christine and Sophia, etc... They knew their names and would come when they were called. I must say that drinking Sophia's raw (goat) milk adding a some organic molasses everyday during my recovery really accelerated the healing of my legs. The doctors expected that I would keep my casts for three months and I removed them myself after one month. I also used some herbs to heal quicker.

I think raw goat milk is an incredible food. The reason I don't eat any animal products is because I feel that we are just too many of us with 6.5 million people and this pushes the industrial animal farming which are raise in horrible conditions and are sick animal living in fear and fed poorly. I would definitely not recommend eating this kind of animal products. Also If 6.5 million people eat animal products, the issue with global warning will quickly increase as it already has.

Here is more information about this topic. Meat and the Environment-Pollution here.

If we don't eat animal products and educate ourselves on the type of vegan food that support our body as well as our spiritual awakening, we support the environment.

Anyway, food is so entangled with our individual consciousness and therefore very individual to everyone own personal path and growth. I just personally choose to be part of the solution as much as I am able to in terms of global cause. This pushed me to learn a lot about the great diversity of a vegan diet. I now eat so much live foods rich in nutrients and so much superfoods everyday that all my cravings went away and eating has now become a delicious medicine and a vehicle for spiritual development.

One think is sure. When you drink your raw milk, make sure you enjoy it! The worse would be to feel guilty.
Also, you may thank the Goat for her hard work providing you nourishment.

I started drinking raw milk about a year ago. It has many benefits like healthy fat and probiotics, vitamin d and a and I believe vitamin K. I was overweight before i drank it and once i started it I lost about 20-30lbs over the next few months. The only problem I had with it was that it was very mucous forming for me and I have also learned that it all milk is acidic to the body unless it is cultured.

There are many things you can do with it like making cheese and yogurt, buttermilk and kefir. Kefir being the most beneficial ( check out domskefirsite.com)

However I believe milk is not to be drank after 2 years of age. Even the cows mother will kick its young away if it tries to drink milk after a certain amount of time. Once gastric juices start flow and mix with the milk in our bodies that is what makes the milk acidic. However if you have a child that can't get its mothers milk. Raw cow milk or goat milk is your next best option.

I believe what make the body form mucous from the milk is the large molecules of casein protein in the milk.

My advice would be don't drink more than a gallon a week and get raw goat milk of you can. It is more easily digestible. It was very hard for me to stop drinking it because I absolutely love the way it tastes. I become addicted to it! But after getting off of it I have more energy and less mucous and still have kept the weight off.

I stay away from eggs too but there are definitly benefits to pasture raised eggs. I love honey and have raw honey everyday! Many enzymes, minerals and all types of stuff in there. Just make sure it is organic otherwise you are just eating concentrated chemicals and pesticides.

If you continue to drink the milk, take a sip for me cuz that stuff sure does taste great!!!

I also agree with Ishwari about thanking the animal. I reccommend actually meeting the cow or goat and being very thankful for what it is providing you.

One thing I always did was visit the farm and get to know the farmer. You have to ask if they give vaccines and what type of supplements do they give thier animals. It is hard to find a farmer who raises thier animal on 100% grass. Most will supplement with some type of meal. Just make sure it isn't GM meal. Most corn and wheat is GM, so you hopefully the supplement would be organic.

Hope this helps.

I was a raw vegan for three years and got weak. Then I started eating raw egg yolks and started feeling better. Then I added raw meat and kefir made from raw goat milk. I am much stronger and not sickly like I used to be.

i think the real key issues are the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and K
very hard to get in a vegan diet
i have been strict vegan for over four years - predominately raw and vegetarian for 12 years before that
definately it is a harderpath to walk and you need to be extra careful
it is harder to be raw and vegan in the winter and in northern climates
you can't get enough vit D from the sun and the quality of food is very much lacking the necessary nutrients
in consciouly sourced animal foods - they are complete and the animal if properly raised has concentrated the nutrients from wild grasses and plants - this is where the real nutrients and life force is and so few of us actually eat enough vital and wild food

our family has now benefitted from adding in small amounts of animal foods like pasture fed eggs which contain all these essential fat soluble vitamins
they help enhance the little protein that the predominate or exclusive plant sources give us AND here is the key we discovred - they help enhance your absorption of minerals
we got our mineral levels tested and found we were low depsite all the excellent raw vegan foods and superfoods we were consuming
best is to check in with yourself and see how you're feeling and go beyond belief systems and above all keep with integrity to yourself and the animals - it can be very easy to blindly consume animal (and plant) foods
much intention and respect is needed
i think the very true test of a diet is reflected in how well it fares for mothers and children and unfortunately i think overall a vegan diet can fall short
for excellent read please go to shazzies website and read her blog about raising vegan children and reference her book Evies Kitchen
also Daniel Vitalis has helped open my mind beyond the narrow paradigm i had placed myself in
don't get me wrong i absolutley love all the principles behind a vegan diet but i personally have had to bring that into balance with the reality of health and nutrition
insects are also a very key food - please reference or re-read the research of Victoria Boutenko - she demonstrated that even our closest biological similar, the chimpanzee, is not vegan

anyways those are my thoughts

thanks everyone

Raw, Grass fed Goat milk is very healthy. I make my own kefir with it. But, in all honesty I don't drink a lot of it, I feed it to my Grandson and partner...
I have not seen any mucus problems with raw milk as long as it is from Grass fed goats, making Kefir from it predigests it making it even healthier for the body. It is nourishing food. That's my experience.

I realize eating mundane food of any sort is loaded with poisons and tortured animal energy.

However, I had forsaken myself when first becoming caught up in the raw food diet. Inside me is a powerful urge to hunt. I once manifested the spirit of a stag in my human body and was completely taken with the humans camping near by and the deer hunt that was going on. I crept dangerously close to the humans, excited and wanting to be hunted for the thrill and exstacy of the chase and the death that would come and the gift of my sacrificed body and the enjoyment of the spiritual celebration of my meat that was to come. Instinctually I realized all this....

Having breast feed three children, I would most definatly only drink or eat raw animal milk if I personally knew the creature and had a mother daughter relationship to the animal. Or at least, spiritually sourced out where the milk was coming from and the spirit in which it was given.

Hi everyone

Please, watch the interview I did with Brian Clement on optimal health and raw vegan diet. I too was confuse about a lot of options and it comes down from being open, using food as a medicine not as an addiction and learning from experts.
Brian Clement explain in the video why it is not optimal to consume animal products including milk, eggs and fish. He talks about a pioneer in the topic who wrote a whole book that explains why raw vegan is the optimal diet to avoid disease. His name is Dr. Campbell and the book is called China Study. Please get it to have the complete information the will help making to most conscious choice possible.

Also, read "Rainbow Diet" from expert in conscious nutrition: Dr. Gabriel Cousens.
He explains VERY CLEARLY that all food have a certain quantity of bad bacterias. Animal product have a udge amount of them compare to vegetable and fruits. These bacterias creates toxins which are really harmful for our health. Please get the information by reading the right literature. Getting the right information is essential when we choose to live consciously. The mind plays trick on us to keep us from expending into new state of conscious enlightenment. The best quality is to remain open willing to let go of old paradigm. All I can say is both Brian Clement and Gabriel Cousens have healed thousands of people with raw vegan diet.

So here are a few pages I posted on this site to check out:

Hello

I myself have never had raw milk because it is not available in alabama. I used to drink tons of milk until the truth was revealed to me. After this i switched to organic milk, but after moving to a mostly raw food diet I have now totally stopped drinking milk expept for occasional times when i eat ice cream. I don't have bumps on my face anymore and feel much lighter and stronger. My face has slimmed down and doesn't look as puffy. milk has an inflamatory affect on the body and is very mucous forming in the body. Caesin the main protein in milk and it is the main ingrediant in a lot of glue and moiter products. Definately something to think about. Also humans are the only mammals that consume milk after the infant stage.

I love eggs, but they are also very acidic to the body. If i eat them i try to do it with tomatoes and spinach to balance out the acidic nature of eggs.

Honey is one of the best foods in the food by far. Bee keepers are said to the the oldest lived in the world. Bees polinate up to like 80% of our food we eat today, so whatever they produce has to be nutritious and cause longevity. Its just common sense. I eat raw honey, propolis, royal jelly, and bee pollen. Roayl jelly and bee pollen are some of the most complete foods on earth, and super longevity foods. Try to get organic raw honey, because raw honey produced in conventional bee farms has collected all the chemicals that it has been treated with. bee wax absorbs almost all toxins it has contact with.
